Rubbish & Recycling
Kerbside Rubbish & Recycling Collection
Please ensure your bags & crates are out on the kerb before 7.30 am on the day of your collection. All recyclables must fit in the Council crate, the council will not collect from other containers or any material outside the crate.
You can also take your rubbish and recycling to the Picton Refuse Station, Gravesend Place, near the start of Queen Charlotte Drive. Click here for more details.
You can get official Council rubbish bags from the Council's Service Centre in the Picton Library (Waitohi Whare Mātauranga).

Community Swimming Pool
The Picton pool is located at Queen Charlotte College and is accessed from the northern end of Hampden Street. The college manages the pool, although Council contributes funding for the provision of public swimming.
